Got sound?

Expanding my creative work from light waves to sound waves!

I’ve started a music production crew with a friend of mine, and together we’ve contemplated a brand new website, so be sure to head over at Technicians Official Website to check it out!

Permalink changes!

Please update your permalinks if you have any.

I’ve changed the linking setup for the site to include year, month and date followed by the post name to make browsing more intuitive and for more explanatory linking.

New online DVD library.

So I just finished a little project together with my ex. I decided to archive my DVD’s in one big box, and create a digital database for reference. VideoDB offered a perfect open source solution for the task at hand, and my ex-girlfriend and I just finished the database for now.

Visit the database here. You will need a registered user to access the database, so please contact me if you want to peak inside.

New hardware!

A while back I ruined my old MacBook Pro and got it replaced with the newest model. I’ve been using the new MBP as my primary computer since then. A couple of days ago I ordered some hardware upgrades and today they arrived.

Neck injury update

I got the results of the MRI today, and it was good news. I do suffer from a minor compressed disk, but surgery is definitely not necessary. I will have to attend a lot of recovery training with a physician, but eventually I believe I will return to a condition where I can resume my Wing Tsun study.

So besides the withdrawal symptoms I have from the pain medication, I feel great. It was really a major relief to finally get diagnosed, and rule out the possibility for need of surgery.

Added gear list to ‘About’ page.

I took the time to make a short list of my photo gear for anyone interested in what I use.

See the list here.

MRI update.

Today the letter arrived from the hospital. I’m scheduled to get scanned wednesday 13th, at 3:40 pm.

Minor updates.

Hello again. I’ve tweaked a few things on the website, some because I was bored, others because they seemed more convenient to the browsing experience.

Update info:

  • Added new logo. Altered new logo to better reflect the colours on the website.
  • Added ‘Categories’ to front page and posts for ease of navigation.
  • Added ‘Last 5 Posts’ list to every posts.
  • Added copyright notice to the footer.
  • Changed the name of the ‘Copyright’ page to ‘Copyright Notice’ and updated the content.

Concerning my medical condition, there’s no updates as off yet. I’m still waiting for the letter to arrive from the hospital with a date for the MRI.

Updates on hold.

Hello out there,

On august 9th I began a one year training course to become a certified Wing Tsun instructor. Two weeks into the course, I sustained an injury to my neck, and the doctors suspect it might be a slipped disk.

I just returned today from a specialist who has referred me to get an MRI at Frederiksberg Hospital. So now I just have to wait for the paperwork to arrive.

I will not be able to handle my camera the next six months (guesstimate from my physiotherapist), and thus the updates to my website will be put on hold until I get new material to post.

Database update.

I just got moved to a newer MySQL database in order to upgrade my WordPress installation. That means I also had to migrate the old data to the new server which resulted in a lot of font corruption in the archived danish posts. I have to fix this manually, so please be patient.

- Thank you.

Video blog post update.

I’ve updated video blog posts, so everything should work properly again.

Short movie: “Once Upon A Time”

This is the first amateur short movie I’ve starred in. It was made by a group of students from Frederiksborg Gymnasium as a final exam project.

In this Tarantino-inspired, social-realistic modern interpretation of The Little Red Riding Hood, we meet an autonomic Red Riding Hood, a crooked eyed wolf, and a bald “Grand Ma” with tattoos. The movie received very good critique from the school cencors, and was a successful project that received 6 “hats”. All-in-all: Passed!

The language in this movie is danish, and there is no subtitles.
